Cross-listed under "Celebrities Margaret and I have had our photos taken with" (Dave Letterman, the cast of "How I Met Your Mother") and "Political figures Margaret and I have seen in person" (John Kerry, John Edwards). What a nice guy that Al Franken is! We got a chance to see his radio show at San Francisco's City Hall today, thanks to Jim, and if I lived in MN, and he runs for Senate in '08, sure -- I'd vote for him. He's way more entertaining than any of the rest of the Democrats, and he sure as hell knows (and cares) more about the issues than Bush does. That being said, I think Addison knows more about the issues than Bush does...

I don't know that I'd vote for Al, but maybe for you or Margaret!! Great picture. Who took it?
Sara! That's so supercoolalicious that you got your photo taken with Al. I want to hear more about his talk. And I second that it's a great picture. This is from Tara, I just can't be bothered to create a user id. Even tho I probably already have one, that I've forgotten, because I have too many...
The story of who took it is also semi-interesting: it was taken by Markos, proprietor of The Daily Kos, whom we met through Deano, and who was on the show that morning. Oh yes, we are tight with the Bay Area political goings-on. Actually, Margaret is, me not so much, so you should definitely vote for her. When she runs.
I didn;'t mean to be anonymous this time....but you still knew who I was...right? it's all those......
