Let the Blogging Begin!

Well, it seems only appropriate that as soon as my new, decisive and paid-for wireless connection kicked in, I should jump on the blog bandwagon. Going from a dial-up to wireless seems like trading in bloomers for cargo pants, although I can't say I'm a big fan of cargo pants. More to the point, 2006 is a year of milestones for me (sure, you know about one of them, smarty pants, but there could be a few more that just might surprise you. Film at 11.), so why not record a few of them?


Anyway, look for The SJB's thoughts on everything from knitting to recipes for molten chocolate cakes to the trials and travails of Addison to what electronic gadgets the Cal undergrads have hanging from their well-coiffed heads when I see them in the gym to updates on the thrilling life of a grad student in California and much, much more on my blog. My only aim is to amuse and enlighten, and of course there's the whole self-indulgence thing, too.
